Milwaukee National Portfolio Day 2025
Description
Join us for the 2025 Milwaukee National Portfolio Day hosted by the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design! This event is free and open to the public on MIAD's campus. This is an opportunity for you to meet with representatives from accredited art and design colleges across the nation. Representatives will review your artwork, discuss their programs and answer questions about professional careers in design, art and creative fields.
We look forward to meeting you, discussing your work and how your passion can find purpose at MIAD.
Questions & Answers
National Portfolio Day is a free opportunity to share your work with representatives from accredited colleges of art and design. Be inspired, gain advice on how to improve or present your portfolio, learn about art and design careers and experience a small taste of what it’s like to attend a professional art or design program. National Portfolio Day may be the first time you have been in an environment with so many people in one place who all share a powerful commitment to art and design.
If you are thinking of pursuing a post-secondary education in art or design, you will likely need to submit a portfolio of your work as part of your application. All of our member schools are accredited art or design universities and colleges, and our events provide students with a unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with professional representatives. You can ask questions about programs, and most importantly, get feedback on how to improve your portfolio so it will be a successful part of your college application.
Check back in late summer 2025 for the full list of colleges that will have representatives attending Milwaukee National Portfolio Day!
All students attending Milwaukee National Portfolio Day must register to attend. You'll also complete the National Portfolio Day registration form in advance or on the day of the event. More information will be sent to you prior to the event when the national registration opens.
